The worlds best guitar store. Owned by guys as kind, honest, and patient as they come. The guitars were out of my budget (because they’re just that good not because it’s unreasonable) but just going there was the experience of a lifetime. I can only hope to save up and come back to thank these guys by buying something. For now I’ll settle for a t-shirt

This is one of the BEST guitar stores in NYC. Tom is a brilliant repair guy and he did an amazing work of my Gibson. We did a complex job where we had the pickup, the piezo & internal mic and preamp all going threw the 2 outputs. Wild work and doen with much grace. Really amazing place.

I just bought a beautiful Martin Guitar from TR Crandell. I am a novice player, yet they were gracious. They (Scott) gave me the space to comfortably do my cowboy chords 12 bar blues, and ask questions… The place is a Cathedral of extraordinary string-instruments and amplifiers, worthy of humble respect - laced with a sense of work, passion and time. The other clients were helpful too… as my playing evolves I am excited about TR Crandell…..

I have played guitar for over 40 years. I have owned so many different Gibson Les Paul's, Fender Strat's, Tele's, a few Explorers and Flying V's, etc. But I have always owned Gibson Firebirds. Love them. I have wanted a WHITE one forever. I found one on TC Crandall's Website. They being in NYC and me being in South Florida wasn't a bother at all. I communicated with Scott at the store throughout this deal, and today, I just received the most beautiful White Gibson Firebird I have ever seen. It found it's FOREVER home with me! TC Crandall - you have one AMAZINGLY HAPPY CUSTOMER in South Florida and I cannot thank you enough for the total professionalism and stress free deal this was! YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!

Incredible selection of vintage Fender amps. More than I've seen anywhere. These guys are on the 5th floor in a real cool space. Got myself a 1960 Champ while I was there.

You have to ring the bell and take the elevator to the 5th floor to get in. But great store, friendly staff.
