Très bons smashburgers et sides originaux qui changent des traditionnelles frites.
J’avais repéré ce restaurant avant de venir à Anvers et je n’ai vraiment pas été déçue ! Il propose aussi une bière sans alcool très bonne 🙂

I visited Plump over the weekend, drawn by the buzz surrounding their burgers. The first thing to note is that this place is popular. Be prepared for a significant queue and a long wait, even after you finally get seated. It’s clear that Plump has a following, but I was curious if the hype would live up to my expectations.

Unfortunately, the waiting didn’t end once we sat down, it was far from over. The food preparation was slow—our burgers took at least 45 minutes to arrive after ordering. For a burger joint, this was quite surprising, as I expected a faster turnaround.

When the food finally arrived, I was underwhelmed. The portion sizes, especially the soft-shell crab burger, were disappointingly small. It felt empty, almost as if the ingredients weren’t balanced or filling enough to justify the price and the wait. While the bun did complement the meat(beef) well, it wasn’t a standout experience. There was no unique flavor or texture that left me craving for more or tempted to return.

Overall, while Plump has an appealing vibe and concept, the execution left much to be desired. For a place with such a reputation, I expected better portion sizes, faster service, and flavors that stood out. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything particularly standout about the place that would make me want to return.

An alternative take on burgers, more in the content than on the “look and feel”. I had the Chorizo burger with fried veggies and enjoyed it wholeheartedly. The place is small with a minimal decor and when it’s warm there are a couple of tables outside. Friendly staff and fast service made this a great lunch.

Hey foodies! 🍔 If you're looking for Antwerp's coziest burger spot, this place is a MUST! 🤩 We kicked things off with the sharing plates: juicy chicken wings glazed with tamarind, crispy tempura shrimp, and charred corn ribs… every bite was mouth-watering! 🔥

Then came the star of the show: the crab burger with kimchi. It was my first time trying it, and WOW, the spicy kick and unique flavors were absolutely incredible! 🦀

The smashed burger was a winner too: tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. 🍔✨ The vibe here is so cozy and laid-back, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends and enjoy great food.
