It feels like friends are cooking for you in their kitchen. The food is incredible, the experience from beginning to end is flawless. Totally recommend. Portions are abundant, in good southern Italian style, you won't leave hungry!

Amazing find, a hidden gem in the city of Antwerp. Super cosy restaurant with room for only 12 people, hosted by the couple who own the restaurant. Excellent wine list with great advice and simply amazing food. An excellent night out and definitely worth the money. Straight to my favourites in Antwerp ❤️

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of dining at Arrikiiati, an intimate Italian restaurant in Antwerp. The food is nothing short of amazing, presenting original takes on Sicilian classics with a strong focus on seasonality and freshness. From the very first bite, the tone was set—an aperitivo featuring an 'exploding' olive that was as playful as it was flavorful. The starters continued to impress: a vibrant blood orange salad that momentarily made me forget the cold outside, followed by tender artichokes served with a delicious salsa verde.
For the primo piatto, I had an outstanding pappardelle with fresh crab, perfectly complemented by crunchy breadcrumbs. Dessert was equally memorable: a citrus cake with a dark cacao crust that provided a striking contrast in both flavor and appearance. And, of course, the meal ended on a classic note with a perfect cannolo. The service is warm and personal, however anticipate longer waiting times due to a limited number of staf. Nevertheless, the experience is certainly worthwhile. The ambiance exudes a cozy, informal living room feel. Due to the proximity of the tables, the atmosphere may feel less private. The acoustics could also be improved, as it can get quite noisy—perhaps some acoustic panelling could offer a solution. I would highly recommend Arrikiiati to anyone looking for an incredible out of the box Italian fine dining experience in Antwerp.
